Many users have been reporting that their copy of Batman: AC are having freezing issues. These freezes occur randomly on both PS3 and Xbox 360 and can be very troubling especially upon boot up. At the time the game begins to search for DLC an error may occur stating that your game save is corrupted and that you’ll have to delete it and start over again. Luckily I happened to stumble across a easy fix (on PS3 anyway).
If your unlucky (like me) and are experiencing this issue then you can try to following:
1. Exit the game
2. Go to your Batman: AC Save data and copy it to a USB, PS+, or another User (In this case I tested on PS+)
3. Delete your data from your console
4. Copy the cloned date you just made
Upon boot up of your game, the data should load fine and continue normally as if the corruption never occurred. Now I’m not 100% this will work every time, but it’s worth a try. For now I recommend that you back up your save data every once in a while (especially if your story progression is far).
additionally if that doesn’t work then a simple console restart may fix the issue.
So far people have reported that the issue doesn’t seem to go away with or without the latest patch. Also for the most part the DLC don’t seem to be the issue, Except if you have the Catwomen DLC installed. This isn’t 100% confirmed, but a few users have reported that the freezing and corrupted data occurs less when that DLC is installed.

How are you copying the game data? You’re only given the option for Delete and Information. Do you mean the save data?

This game friggin blows the pooch. It keeps freezing I played about 20 minutes. Game is good if you want to play the first 3% after that it sucks sucks sucks suks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We shouldn’t have to put up with this crap! These video companies make Millions upon millions of billions of dollars. i am laid off have no food and have no work for bills. I was bored and though i would buy a game taht i can have fun while i am not working but now I have a game I cant play. ATTENTION! TRUST ME….just bring the game back to the store and tell them it freezes and it sucks and let the stores send every god damn copy back to those fools!. I work very hard for my money! Ok enough bitching. My son is very persistent if you keep playing and restarting the game over and over and over like 500 times it will work through. I’m 37 and dont have that kind of time to screw with it. Thats your only choice until a patch comes out for this game. So in the mean time let it collect dust or bring it back. I just kept mine dont have gas or bus money to return thanks a lot….”Unreal” “DC” “Rockstaedy” “Warner Brothers” “Magenation” and “Scaleform” if your name is on the label …..go screw. Not really a fix, because once youve found you need to do this, youve already lost the date. It needs fixing ‘after’ its happened

Still wont work, im in the beggining of new game + and I start at a fight in the museum as catwoman and it freezes and says it’s corrupt. I’ve tried a few different variances of your technique and yet is still doesn’t work. Any advice? Lol

BRING THE GAME BACK TO THE STORE AND LET THEM KNOW WHY YOU ARE RETURNING IT? LET THE ASSHOLES WHO MADE IT FIX IT. iTS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY! iF EVERYONE BANS TOGETHER AND RETURNS IT THEY MAY BE MORE CAREFUL BEFORE A RELEASE THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY IT WOULD COST THEM IF EVERYBODY RETURNED THE GAME.
